5 Easy Ways to Spoil Your Dog

Are you looking for easy ways to spoil your dog? Us too! Our pets do so much for us, it's about time we spoil them! Did we mention it's super easy to do? Keep reading and find out!

Dogs gift us companionship, unconditional love, laughter, and so much more. The least we could do as owners is spoil the crap out of them once in a while. This doesn't have to cost a lot of money or take much time. It can be simple and easy. Below are 8 easy ways to spoil your pet!

Go On a Sniffer Walk!
We all know how the phrase, "want to go for a walk" excites your four-legged friend beyond belief. Once in a while, spoil them by letting them take the lead on a long walk. Let them smell, stop, lay down, roll around, and do whatever they'd like! In my household, we call this a sniffer walk because we let our pooch guide the way with her nose! You may only walk a mile in 30 minutes, but these kinds of stimulation exercises can tire your pet out just the same! Your pet will enjoy the freedom and get to lead the way!
Go to the Pet Store for a New Toy!
An outing to the pet store is a great way to socialize and stimulate your dog. Full of smells, other dogs, and so much more, an adventure to the pet store is quite the treat! Not to mention the toy aisle is any dog's dream! Instead of guessing which one they'd like, let them explore the large selection of options most stores have! Letting them pick out a toy can also prevent the boredom of old ones! Remember to rotate your pet's toys so they don't get bored. A new chewer, tug, or squeaky toy is always a good idea!
Take Your Dog Swimming!
For dogs who love the water, a trip swimming is the perfect way to spoil them. It doesn't take much to tire them out. Even an hour at the beach or lake can tire them out for the day! Don't want to leave your house? Set up a sprinkler or get the hose out! Your pet will have fun either way!
Get them Groomed and their Nails Trimmed
Although grooming may not be a favorite thing for your pet, it's actually a great way to spoil them. A lack of grooming can leave your dog itchy and uncomfortable. They will feel great once they are nice and freshly cleaned!
The Gift of Your Time and Undivided Attention
The best gift you can give your dog is your time and attention! Play, cuddle, and pet them! This may seem too easy, but pets thrive when given love and attention. Spending quality time with your pet supports their emotional health as well as your own! It's the best of both worlds. Not only does your pet benefit from this time but it strengthens the bond between owner and pet!

Spoiling your dog doesn't have to be hard or a lot of work. Once in a while, it feels good to give back to our dogs because we know they do so much for us!
